Sitting within CBA Retail Banking Services (RBS) Open Banking and Digital Identity Crew, this role sits within the Crew’s Working With Agile Team. The Crew is part of the Everyday Banking Domain and is responsible for CBA’s open banking and digital identity solutions for customers.
Do work that matters:
The Senior Manager will report into the Executive Manager, Open Data and will support the identification, evaluation and prioritisation of potential partnership opportunities. The successful candidate will work with our frontline and support office teams to assess and prioritise potential external partnership opportunities, while supporting our governance requirements and end to end operational scale-up.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and prioritise potential partners that broaden the bank’s reach into new and existing verticals and grow and scale core banking offerings.
- Drive the activation of CBA’s merchant network to adopt ConnectID and digital identity credentials
- Work with Crews and Domains across all business units in CBA (including X15) to identify, evaluate and prioritise opportunities for CBA to be a Relying Party of ConnectID and digital identity credentials
- Work with Crews and Domains across all business units in CBA (including X15) to identify, evaluate and prioritise opportunities to leverage CDR data and other external data sources.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across the Group to unlock synergies and ensure a consistent approach to partnership opportunities.
- Managing governance and preparation for industry meetings, and providing input into consultations around the use and acceptance of Digital ID.
- Input into Open Data strategy and delivery of related operations initiatives.
- Industry outreach and education.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- In depth experience business strategy, business development, partnerships or similar, specifically with a strong focus on delivering value for customers.
- Experience in Merchant acceptance networks, Payments, Open Banking and/or Digital ID
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to understand emerging regulatory approaches to data management, including evolving standards in privacy and cyber security.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrate superior judgement in screening and prioritising partnership and growth opportunities.
