Collaborating with multiple functional groups in Mondelēz International and external organizations and opinion leaders, you develop and deploy nutrition strategies for the AMEA region. You contribute to our mindful snacking strategy by helping to diversify our portfolio, guiding breakthrough innovations and renovations that enhance the nutrition profile of our products, building credible brand communications, and leading external nutrition education and outreach to empower people to snack right.
How you will contribute
You will offer strategic direction and nutrition and wellbeing thought leadership for our mindful snacking strategy, inspiring product renovations and innovations. Working with regulatory affairs, marketing, consumer insights, nutrition research, and legal, you will promote nutrition and wellbeing messages and support the development and substantiation of science-backed claims used across media (packaging, advertising, websites, recipes, materials for health professionals, etc.). In this role, you will lead internal nutrition and wellbeing education programs to increase employee knowledge and implement external health professional outreach programs to drive brand credibility and growth. Leveraging your understanding of nutrition science and policy and partnering with key functions like scientific affairs and corporate and government affairs, you will inform the company's external advocacy strategy and related stakeholder communications. You will also represent the company's business interests by participating in strategic, external industry groups and nutrition partnerships. As a people manager, you will direct a remote team of nutrition professionals covering nutrition strategy and communications responsibilities within their business units.
What you will bring

  • Nutrition expert with deep experience in nutrition science, communications, policy, and issues management, in the region and preferably in food industry
  • Translating nutrition insights and scientific research into relevant messages and credible claims
  • Possessing excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to convey complex nutrition concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Influencing senior, cross-functional partners and external bodies
  • Managing and coaching people, including building strong teams, growing individuals and setting and managing professional development plans for a diverse team
  • Handling complexity, working with cross country/category teams, working with internal and external stakeholders, and working on multiple, high-profile projects in a dynamic environment

Education / Requirements:

  • Dietitian and MS or PhD in nutrition preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in nutrition, working in or with the food or beverage industry


Travel requirements: 10-20%
Work schedule / Location: Singapore
