What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Manager of International Operations that will drive BetterHelp’s expansion into new global markets and support growth in existing international markets. This role focuses on strategic planning, financial optimization, and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful, timely, and budget-conscious market launches.

What will you do?

  • Program Management - Lead our international launch planning. Ensure new markets launch on-time and within budget. Ensure stakeholders are appropriately informed and consulted and issues are surfaced as they arise.  
  • Competitive Analysis - Assess the competitive landscape across international markets and evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Financial Planning - Develop opportunities to improve margin and future growth. Manage inputs into the international P&L and update projections based on new information
  • Process Development & Optimization - Continue to improve the way the international Business Unit operates within BetterHelp to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Roadmapping - Partner across teams to ensure alignment of cross-functional roadmaps and timelines
  • Special Projects - Take on special projects as needed to grow the business including partnerships, business development, and product pilots

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We also ask our employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to three times per year and to one company offsite to collaborate in person in order to build better working relationships and experience our in-office culture. Travel expenses will be covered and reasonable accommodations will be made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or strategy
  • Health tech experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, outcome-oriented
  • Believes in our company's mission to provide professional, affordable, and personalized therapy in a convenient online format
  • Ability to work in the US and travel to our Mountain View, California offices up to six times per year and to an additional company offsite.

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $210,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable to all full-time positions.
