How will your role help us transform hope into reality?
This role will be a key member of the Blueprint Medicines International team primarily support and lead the execution of key marketing projects related to AYVAKYT (avapritinib) in systemic mastocytosis. The ultimate goal of these efforts is to drive product demand and optimize patient outcomes via labeled clinical education to key stakeholders involved in patient care. Individual’s time will be dedicated to complex project execution and evolving the omnichannel ecosystem and will require strong collaboration with Blueprint Medicine’s EU country affiliates, and agency partners.
What will you do?
- Support timely execution of disease awareness and promotional tactics related to the AYVAKYT launch in advanced systemic mastocytosis and indolent systemic mastocytosis in key European markets.
- Lead and evolve the Omnichannel ecosystem in SM for the International region collaborating with both commercial and medical
- Develop a strategy for consent capture across the region
- Support International Commercial Team (ICT) forums for driving sharing of best practice amongst BPM country affiliates.
- Coordinate with local brand managers from the market for Brand strategy harmonization and tactical execution
- Coordinate the promotional review process for International commercial activities and materials. Ensure affiliates and distributor partners receive high quality and compliant marketing deliverables.
- Manage partner agencies and track International commercial team budgets (with Line manager support, SD International Brand Lead ) and timelines to execute on disease education and promotional materials on time and on budget.
- Lead the International congress plan and coordinate the EU congress taskforce.
- Support International commercial training content development.
- Provide ad-hoc support to all international cross functional launch activities.
What minimum qualifications do we require?
- BA/BS degree required. Advanced degree, or other equivalent experience a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the EU biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including direct involvement in marketing, sales, or market development activities.
- Experience in hematology oncology, rare disease, or allergy/immunology a plus
- Demonstrated track record of complex project management and effective vendor management
- Demonstrated track record executing multi-channel marketing and digital tactics
- Skilled at independently organizing project goals, completing long-term projects on time and within budget and fully integrating them into the work of other functions
- Commitment to succeeding with integrity in a highly regulated commercial environment
- Ability to craft key messages and narratives for internal and external stakeholders from complex clinical and business data
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and nimbly adapt in a dynamic business environment
What additional qualifications will make you a stronger candidate?
- Pharmaceutical Rx marketing experience and/or multi-channel, digital media, social media experience, inclusive of CRM, display, social media, email, website, and digital measurement plans
- Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process
- Rare disease experience preferred
- Strong patient orientation with organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships and operating in a cross-functional environment
- Results-oriented, exhibits leadership skills, and ability to influence without authority
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
