Job Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Infrastructure, you will report to the Director, Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery, supporting the strategic direction and ownership of the IT systems and managed services related to Cloud Transit, Network, and Datacenter. This role provides leadership and guidance to a team, ensuring the objectives of clients and the portfolio are met. The Senior Manager will solve problems, guide the team to deliver optimal technical solutions, and ensure the execution and delivery of the customer strategy, contributing to the organization's strategic goals.
What you will do:
Leadership and Team Management

Lead a team of 4+ direct reports, including System Engineers and analysts.

Provide technical leadership and product knowledge for Cloud Transit, Network, and Datacenter.

Responsible for skills development, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.

Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and mentor the team.
Product Delivery and Strategy:
-
Build and implement infrastructure vision to support the IT Strategy.
-
Bring a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) mindset to continually deliver features to the business.

Prioritize, estimate, and elaborate on the work backlog across multiple business functions and clients.

Create requirements and solution designs in partnership with the team and stakeholders.
-
Ensure delivery of results within timelines and budget.
-
Incorporate user and technical feedback.
Operations and Support:

Drive the team's KTLO (Keep the Lights On) and BAU (Business as Usual) operations.
-
Ensure that KPIs are maintained or continuously improved.

Champion vendor relationships required to deliver the product and outcomes for the team.

Work with Business and IT Teams in Incident management and reporting.

Drive change and recommend/adopt best practices.

Facilitate Agile framework ceremonies (e.g., Daily Scrum, Planning, Demos, Retrospectives).

Provide analytical, operational, and change management support to the team's deliverables.

Identify key opportunities to provide effective and innovative technical solutions based on knowledge and experience of the products and industry.

What you bring:

Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Enterprise Networking, or Cloud Networking.
-
10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years of experience leading people and enterprise-grade multiple large/strategic projects in Enterprise Networking, Datacenter, and Cloud Transit projects.

Demonstrated experience advising teams and clients on solution design options and prioritization.

Experience working with a variety of technologies and vendor platforms, including Cisco, SDWAN, Access Networking, Palo Alto Networks (Firewall, Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager), Cloud Transit (Azure and AWS), Datacenter, Network Security (802.1x, posturing, edge security, remote access), Compute and Storage (HCI), DDI, and SASE.

Vendor engagement and vendor management experience, including leading or being part of a vendor selection process, contract negotiations, contract governance, vendor implementations, and vendor solution upgrades.

People leadership and mentoring experience, actively working with IT analysts and developers on the technical build, answering questions, and removing barriers.

Demonstrated proficiency in leading delivery on major features and complex projects.
