Your impact

The Senior Manager will be responsible for successfully executing high-growth workforce development programs for federal government clients. This role will primarily involve program operations design and end-to-end execution, but will also include a high level of client-facing account management. The role will operate cross-functionally across internal verticals, including the Business Development, Curriculum, Career Success, and Product teams.

The ideal candidate is an excellent project manager, and is able to execute simultaneous competing deadlines and tasks involving multiple stakeholders. The Senior Manager is able to inspire direct reports, guiding their work on several levels, including giving a proper sense of how to prioritize and execute consistently. The Senior also will have significant exposure to the executive team at Correlation One, and be able to provide input on strategic decisions on how to scale our federal government programs. The ideal candidate also has strong client management and superior communication skills.

A successful Senior Manager is a quick learner with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and is able to navigate ambiguity productively and patiently. It is helpful if the Senior Manager has worked with federal government clients in a fast-paced industry like strategy consulting. They should have an interest in changing lives through education and a desire to work on larger and/or different programs as we continue to scale. Correlation One is a company where creativity, initiative, collaboration, and communication are valued.

A day in the life

  • Design and execute high-growth workforce development programs end-to-end, optimizing for both near-term outcomes and medium-term scale
  • Manage operations analysts, guiding their work and inspiring their best efforts in program delivery
  • Work closely with large federal government clients, understanding their needs, responding promptly, and translating priorities into internal workflows
  • Collaborate with executive leadership at the firm to shape strategy and growth priorities as we scale
  • Work collaboratively with teams in other verticals, including Business Development, Product, Curriculum, and more

Your expertise

  • 3-6 years full-time professional experience, ideally in a strategy consulting for a federal government client, or in a startup operations, education, workforce development, or EdTech role
  • Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and communicating directly with high-value stakeholders
  • Experience managing cross-functional, high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with large audiences and varying levels of English language proficiency
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Proactive approach, high attention to detail, and a quick learner
  • Strong customer service ethic, with experience supporting relationships with individuals and clients
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and MS Office Suite, especially Powerpoint and Excel, and Slack and Zoom
