Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning (Hybrid, Acton, MA)

The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning is responsible for global finished goods planning throughout Insulet’s worldwide supply chain.  This role is a key member of the leadership team that manages worldwide Insulet production, new product introductions, plant and sterilizer capacity, and inventory plans to ensure continuity of care for Insulet customers. This role drives systems and process improvements and is a key member of the Integrated Business Planning Team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Finished Goods/Total Pipeline Inventory Days on Hand supply to achieve continuity of care and inventory goals as well as KPIs for service, cost, logistics, and quality.
• Oversee the release of global Part Numbers through the entire supply chain. This includes production, sterilization, qualification, transportation and logistics.
• Manage sterilization capacity and day to day coordination of sterilization activities
• Drives continuous improvement of material flow processes in support of procurement and manufacturing goals, particularly cycle time and freight costs.
• Responsible for managing capacity and detailed planning of internal and external manufacturing process steps.
• Performs high level analysis on supply risk, cost and service impact of change.
• Engagement with Sales Ops, Supply Chain Planning and overall Operations/Distribution/ Logistics teams as well Global Sub-Contractors to meet Insulet goals.
• Develop consistent, effective reporting and scorecards to highlight issues and drive action.
• Support Global Product Launches to ensure Product Availability meeting Launch Date.
• Experience in leading and mentoring team.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering. 7-10 years of increasing responsibility in supply chain planning, production or procurement roles.
• Detailed knowledge of Production planning, demand and supply planning, and S&OP concepts and policies.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:         

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems.  SAP S4, IBP is preferred.
• Self-driven, result oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively influence third parties and cross-functional teams to drive improvement within a supply chain, operations, and manufacturing environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence others through demonstrated expertise.
• Excellent, professional communications skills to build and maintain relationships with our service providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid  

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $133,500.00 - $200,250.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
