The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Senior Global Program Manager works as part of a cross-functional Global Program Team and will support the Global Program Lead in all aspects of program delivery including planning towards milestones, defining decision points, creating plans, managing critical path activities, proactively identifying issues, resolving conflicts and communicating project-related issues to the stakeholders.

  • Integrating the various functions detailed plans into a program milestone plan for each program phase through Development, Regulatory Approvals and Commercialisation

  • Coordinating and tracking the performance against plan with the program team

  • Deputising for Global Program Lead, leads scheduled meetings, develops and manages agenda, creates meeting minutes, and follows up action items throughout the project

  • Timely and periodic tracking of progress on actions and follow-up with respective owners to ensure timely closure and execution

  • Supporting the Global Program Lead with proactive risk management and effectively managing the program risk register.

  • Preparing project reports, analyses and delivers presentations to Global Program Team on a regular basis

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Advanced Scientific degree with 10+ years experience in at least a number of the following areas: Program Management, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Engineering Project Management

  • Extensive experience in project management principles and methodologies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and verbal form)

  • Proven ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from multiple and varied functions

  • Demonstrated capability to provide technical leadership and coordination for complex global programs

  • Skilled to decompose complex problems into actionable plans and track them to closure

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across functions and cultures

  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of issues, build consensus, and see tasks through to resolution.

  • Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with the Senior Leadership team

  • Ability to focus on details while keeping overall goals in mind
