JOB LOCATION: Cambridge, MA
POSITION: Senior Manager GDO Business Analytics and Insights
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager GDO Business Analytics and Insights with the following duties: Identify, standardize, and operationalize high-value analytics deliverables that support the long-term trial design and delivery, identify high-priority problem statements and coordinate solutions with organizational functions and external vendors, including building predictive models based on healthcare/clinical trial data ultimately providing recommendations to end users for action. Evaluate, recommend, and communicate appropriate data visualization best practices, predictive models/techniques, and industry knowledge to other team members; develop, using best practice techniques, Key Performance Indicator dashboard for key stakeholders, maintain portfolio market intelligence and analytics for portfolio analysis, including liaising with external data vendors; deliver high-quality and timely assigned business analytics and report deliverables through effective utilization of Takeda's clinical analytics platform; maintain portfolio market intelligence and analytics for portfolio analysis, including liaising with external data vendors; serve as Subject Matter Expert for operational analytics and reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization for internal initiatives and projects; evaluate, recommend, and communicate appropriate data visualization best practices, predictive models and techniques, and industry knowledge to other team members through presentations at regular Business Analytics and Insights forums; provide hands-on expertise and work collaboratively to design and execute bespoke analytics to support specific trial needs; maintain a positive, results-oriented work environment, build partnerships and model teamwork, communicate with stakeholders in an open, balanced and objective manner; and support functional strategic initiatives and processes and act as a role model for Takeda's values. Up to 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the US.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field or foreign equivalent degree plus 3 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Develop in-depth performance data analyses and visually compelling data visualizations for key stakeholders, using best practices and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Tableau etc; Conduct exploratory data analysis, data processing, and develop machine learning models based on healthcare data using programming languages such as Python/R etc; Communicate insights, best practices, and data-driven recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders and team members through impactful presentations at regular group forums, utilizing tools like PowerPoint/ThinkCell for building presentations; Deliver modeling results and recommendations to end users for action by developing automated interfaces and interactive visualizations; Demonstrate a strategic mindset, helping define key business questions, designing data analysis and prioritizing initiatives that contribute to the development of the company's overall strategy; Navigate and manage multiple stakeholders and translate complex data analyses into actionable recommendations, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement for informed decision-making processes.
