The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Functional Process Efficiencies for our location in Austin, Texas in our Cardiac-Rhythm Management division. This is a fully on-site role.

The Senior Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional team members to improve the productivity of our Commercial organization. Measures, forecasts and monitors projects and budgets related to his/her responsibility. Accountable for the preparation of tactical plans (time and resources), coordination of related activities and delivering results that improve the day in the life of our Commercial Team. The Program Manager provides expertise and fosters continuous improvement in optimizing Commercial activities. Assists the Divisional Vice President in achieving the strategic goals for division wide initiatives and responsible for critical projects delegated by the Divisional Vice President that will reside within the Senior Program Manager's area of responsibility.

What You'll Do:

  • This position is accountable for delivering sustained Commercial team efficiencies, without a negative impact to the margin profile.
  • Establish strategy for Functional Process Efficiencies Value Stream.
  • Provide direction for management and systems which support strategy for United States implementation and eventually global implementation and standardization of best practices.
  • The incumbent is required to interact with all levels of the division, and act as a point person for Senior Leaders including VPs.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.

Education And Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree – in Engineering, Business or Science preferred
  • A minimum of ten years Commercial, Sales, Finance, Human Resources or Operations areas, including 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.

Preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Effective communication skills, business problem solving, ability to lead change in an organization and ability to conduct strategic analysis are key skills for this position.
  • Strong working knowledge of the various lifecycle processes and knowledge of the systems supporting the processes. Must possess cross-functional knowledge of the lifecycle processes and must be able to assess impact of proposed changes on all areas.
  • Ability to build cross-divisional relationships and support for process improvements and must be able to develop implementation plans which support adherence to best practices.
  • Must possess knowledge of Quality Systems and their supporting processes. Must possess departmental and budget management skills.
  • Six Sigma, Black Belt strongly preferred.
  • MBA strongly preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$111,300.00 – $222,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
