You’ll partner closely with senior leadership – including the VP of Finance and CEO – to shape financial strategy, lead forecasting and reporting, and drive insights that influence major business decisions. • Strategic Finance & Scenario Planning: Build models to evaluate new initiatives, investment opportunities, and business scenarios. Present recommendations that inform long-term planning and resource allocation

  • Cash Flow & Capital Efficiency: Monitor cash flow and working capital. Provide guidance on optimizing liquidity and ensuring we deploy capital effectively to support sustainable growth

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a trusted finance partner to teams across the company – translating financial data into strategic decisions, and helping others understand the financial impact of their work

  • Process Development: Design and implement scalable finance processes that grow with the business – especially around spend management and reporting automation

What you have

  • Experience: 7+ years in finance, including experience at a high-growth startup and/or public company. Background in investment banking or consulting is a plus. Fintech, lending, or consumer subscription experience is highly valued

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA or CFA certifications are a bonus

  • Tools & Tech: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems and BI tools. Familiarity with SQL is a plus

  • Communication Skills: Comfortable presenting complex financial information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership

  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and influence cross-functional teams in high-growth settings

What We Do

We help everyday Americans build a brighter financial future.

With a business model that is aligned with our customers, we create transparent, fair, and simple financial products that put money back in the hands of our members, help them spend wisely, and avoid unfair fees. We don’t just reduce stress — we promote sustainable financial health.

Our team comes from diverse backgrounds, but are united in the fight for our members’ financial security and freedom. With experience at Amazon, Deutsche Bank, Palantir, Two Sigma and more, our experts not only have the tools to solve financial insecurity—they’ve witnessed the problem firsthand. At big banks we’ve seen the injustice of inequality. At leading tech companies we’ve learned to build from the best. Now we’re putting both to use to change lives every day.
