How you’ll make an impact:

This position is responsible for credit risk management, support successful implementation of new projects in EMEA region and cooperation on transactional accounting activities.

  • Drive Credit management activities
  • Be trustworthy business partner for other departments, mainly FPA, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Treasury, Legal, etc.
  • Lead a smaller team in direct/dotted reporting line.
  • Participate on EMEA projects as a finance representative.
  • Monitor and assess compliance with internal controls, tax planning, IFRS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Edwards Financial Policies and Procedures for all entities and operations. 
  • If necessary, hands-on involvement in accounting activities and managing the monthly close process for designated legal entities (e.g. monthly review of countries’ P&L and B/S).
     

What you'll need (Required):

  • University degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

  • Familiarity with the EEMEA region is an advantage.
  • Exposure to credit risk management is preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
