We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Digital Commerce Analytics Senior Manager to join our dynamic US Insights & Analytics - Business Analytics team at Mondelez, a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing a best-in-class CPG ecommerce analytics practice, leveraging both existing and new data streams to explain and drive business growth. You will provide a holistic perspective on business performance across key digital commerce channels, integrating insights from customer experience (Cx), promotional calendars, flywheel effects, and retail media to uncover growth drivers. This role will also involve leading strategic initiatives that accelerate our digital commerce capabilities through advanced data tools, optimization strategies, and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring we build and maintain an industry-leading of e-commerce analytics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, Manage and Lead a Best-in-Class Ecommerce Business Performance Measurement Ecosystem:

  • Build and continually enhance a comprehensive business performance measurement framework by leveraging a wide range of data streams to accurately explain digital commerce performance.
  • Utilize new data sources and analytics tools to measure and track performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improving online revenue and business outcomes.
  • Integrate insights across Customer Experience (Cx), Promotional Calendars, Flywheel Effects, and Retail Media to explain and identify MDLZ growth drivers.
  • Connect disparate data sources and create a 360-degree view of the business performance, ensuring the identification of key areas to optimize for sustainable growth.
  • Lead the creation of a Ecommerce Performance Decomposition Tool to diagnose business performance by breaking down the underlying factors that contribute to growth or decline.
  • Develop an omni-channel point of view to help interpret how different online channels and customer touchpoints drive digital commerce success.
  • Utilize ratings and reviews to proactively identify product, packaging, or other consumer-related issues that could impact sales or customer satisfaction.
  • Integrate insights from ratings and reviews into broader business performance analysis, driving continuous product and experience optimization.


Domain/SME expert

  • Communicate regularly with senior management on drivers of business performance and execute double click on problem areas providing deep insights regarding drags to sales and share growth for Mondelez at key monthly business review meetings and forums.
  • Operate as the domain expert and be the go-to person for all ecommerce analytics.


Thought Leadership:

  • Continually assess suppliers for cutting-edge approaches to performance measurement and analytics, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Conduct benchmarking of peer companies and bring an external perspective to diagnose business performance, leveraging industry best practices to inform strategy.
  • Introduce and evaluate new tools and techniques to accelerate the understanding of business drivers, particularly focusing on AI/ML-based technologies.
  • Keep abreast of emerging digital commerce technologies and integrate them into our analytics ecosystem to stay competitive.
  • Lead the Digital Commerce (DigiCom) forecasting process and optimize digital commerce strategies across e-commerce and retail media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment on digital commerce objectives and initiatives.
  • Work alongside the MDS teams to build new digital commerce products that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead the optimization of digital assets and experiences across pure-play retailers and multi-channel platforms.


AI/ML-Based Insights Tools:

  • As data availability and sources grow, identify key vendors to partner with and drive cutting-edge AI/ML-based insights tools for digital commerce.
  • Lead the implementation of advanced AI/ML technologies to uncover deeper, more accurate insights into customer behavior and business performance.


Provide Holistic Stories Across Pure-Play/E-commerce Customers:

  • Leverage comprehensive datasets like Amazon, Luminate, Instacart, and others to provide holistic performance stories across different pure-play and e-commerce customers.
  • Translate data into actionable strategies, providing a clear narrative to inform business decision-making and performance optimization.


What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Data Science, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred.


  • Experience:
    • 7+ years in Ecommerce analytics, e-commerce strategy, or related fields, ideally within CPG or retail sectors.
    • Proven track record in Ecommerce performance measurement ecosystem development, integrating multi-channel data to explain business outcomes and growth drivers.
    • Experience with digital/ecommerce marketing strategies, retail media, and tools such as Amazon, Walmart Media Group, and other retail media platforms.
    • Strong experience in AI/ML tools, data science applications, and advanced predictive analytics in the context of digital commerce.
    • Experience in benchmarking, supplier assessments, and integrating external industry insights into business strategies.


  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in data integration and developing advanced reporting systems for tracking ecommerce business performance.
    • Strong proficiency in data visualization and advanced analytics.
    • Knowledge of AI/ML-based tools and their application in improving digital commerce insights and decision-making.


  • Leadership & Soft Skills:
    • Strong leadership abilities with experience in cross-functional collaboration and driving strategic initiatives in Ecommerce.
    • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to lead initiatives and optimize processes across diverse teams.
    • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of consumer behavior, digital commerce ecosystems, and growth drivers.


The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
