WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

This is a Leadership CMI role in North America Personal Care on driving Performance through Market Insights & Analytics.

This role has dual scope leading: (a) Performance & Category Strategy Insights on USA Deos; and (b) PC Canada Insights & Analytics.

As the Insights lead on Deos Performance and Category Strategy, you will be working closely with the Head of USA Deos Category Planning and Performance, and CMI Head of Deos NA. You get to work on our amazing brands: Dove, Dove Men+Care, Degree, Axe.

In this capacity, your key deliverables (and not limited to) will be:

Supporting Category & Unilever’s Customer-level Growth through thought leadership, category value drivers, market analysis etc. Market Share Forecasting & Predictive Insights/ Analytics to deliver our MS objectives. Customer-level Insights/ Analytics that drive Unilever’s growth faster than the category AND Lead category growth. Grow our Share in DCom through powerful insights and actions. Accelerate our Innovation incrementality through Innovation tracking and early insights. Be a champion of making 6Ps operational for Brands’ Superiority.

As the PC Canada Insights leader, you will be working closely with PC NA Chief Insights Officer and Head of Canada PC BU:

Coaching/ guiding the Associate PC CMI Manager (Performance) Canada; Associate PC CMI Manager will continue to partner with the Head of Canada PC BU. Drive Canada PC growth and market share.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated high performance and leadership, 5-7+ years of relevant experience (such as consumer/market research, analytics, consulting, customer development, CPG or marketing).
  • Skilled in- Market Insights, Pricing Analytics, Descriptive & Predictive Analytics, Shopping, Channel and Customer Insights
  • Good understanding of retail & channel landscape in the market and region
  • Experience in running qualitative, quantitative research and/or data analysis of POS, scanning and consumer panel data
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn advanced data analytics (like pricing, marketing mix), brand communication and shopper/retailer business insights
  • Demonstrate ability to understand the key problems/issues, think critically through problems, and provide clear logic and points-of-view. Not afraid of sharing POV even if it’s different from key stakeholder’s. 
  • Ability to collaborate seamless & lead across agency partners and internal Unilever teams will be crucial
  • Ability to coach and guide less experienced CMI colleagues
  • Undergraduate degree required.  Advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Economics or Business welcomed.

  • Business partnering & influencing with Marketing, CS&P, Customer Development and Insights Agencies, etc. (both internal and external) in order to play as a critical part of the team to make greater impact.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $113,400 to $170,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
