As a Senior Manager of Business Recruiting, you will lead a team responsible for implementing hiring strategies across Global Technical Solutions, focusing on developing high-performing teams, optimizing hiring processes, and ensuring diversity in recruitment. You'll partner with stakeholders to achieve hiring goals and manage talent pipelines to meet both current and future needs.

This role will lead a team of leaders and recruiters to drive hiring strategies across Global Technical Solutions, and act as an advisor and trusted resource to key leaders across the business. As an action-oriented strategic partner to business stakeholders, this role will carry the recruiting subject matter expertise for the global orgs, and will build, scale, and structure the recruiting teams for success and future growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Hire and develop high performing teams, while establishing and executing objectives, and leading teams to reach quarterly hiring goals and OKRs
  • Be responsible for staffing, forecasting hiring targets, goal setting, training, and leading your team to achieve projected team recruiting goals annually
  • Implement and analyze diversity data to identify gaps and develop strategies that improve diverse hiring outcomes
  • Optimize hiring processes across Technical Solutions to be efficient and scalable, reducing time-to-hire and improving overall candidate experience.
  • Partner with the compensation team to regularly review compensation data and adjust when needed to remain competitive and attractive to candidates in tight markets.
  • Drive your team to build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline, preparing for both current and future hiring needs
  • Stay on top of the latest recruiting strategies and market movements, while facilitating training sessions with recruiters, leaders, and stakeholders as it pertains to sourcing, interviewing, profile identification, process workflow, etc.


Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting with 4+ years leading recruiting teams, preferably for technical functions or companies
  • An experienced leader who has managed double-digit sized teams, including managing managers, and seeks out opportunities to mentor and develop others in their careers
  • Excellent cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Superior at coaching your team in selling value proposition, negotiating and closing great candidates
  • Highly detail oriented and skilled at operating with a sense of urgency in all stages of the recruiting cycle
  • Able to successfully navigate and pivot to changing business needs while using data to identify, influence, and drive change

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
