Your Role:

The ETF and Capital Markets Specialist will be responsible for supporting and evolving client facing engagement from within the Global ETF platform focusing on the APAC region. The specialist is responsible for improving engagement with ETF investors understanding investment philosophy, process and performance of specific products. They will also be providing updates on product performance and market trends as well as conveying execution guidance to Invesco ETF clients.

The specialist is responsible for understanding the nuances of trading ETFs spanning all asset classes and is tasked with ensuring an efficient trading ecosystem for Invesco’s Global ETFs. The specialist is responsible for wider ETF business strategy reporting through building tools and applications to better understand APAC investors interaction with ETFs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead/Support end client engagement efforts with regards to ETF education trading and execution from within the APAC ETF team.
  • Produce quantitative analytics and research to assist clients across all channels.
  • Liaise with ETF Portfolio Management, ETF Operations, Technology and external data vendors to promote cross team’s projects aimed at improving the business unit data capabilities..
  • Build visualization tools, create interactive applications and automate tasks to improve the APAC ETF business workflow.
  • Assist clients across all channels in achieving better investment outcomes and best execution when utilizing Invesco ETFs. Provide education on ETF product structure, performance, liquidity and effectively communicate specific investment and trading strategies.
  • Write ETF focused market insight pieces and trading research for both internal and external audiences. Collect, analyze and extract meaning from ETF trading data in an effort to produce relevant content and drive inflows.
  • Collaborates with internal working groups including product development and research to enhance new and existing products.
  • Assist in pre-trade analytics and reporting platform and supporting the data requirements for ETF Execution and Liquidity Services.

The Experience You Bring:

Our high performing team is seeking candidates who innovate, operate effectively in an agile environment, challenge the status quo and are driven to succeed.

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent, with 5 years relevant experience in ETF industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ETF mechanics, including the factors that drive ETF pricing, creations/redemptions, liquidity and spreads, premiums and discounts.
  • Multi-asset knowledge including, fixed income, equities, derivatives (futures, swaps, etc.) and FX.
  • Understanding of Regulatory framework and willingness to stay current on upcoming changes/updates.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, VBA, C++, etc.), SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg
  • Strong relationship building skills to build new and enhance existing relationships with the ETF trading community. Ability to understand and articulate complex investment concepts and strategies.
  • Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment, drive forward key initiatives and manage workflow on simultaneous projects.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with establishing objectives and then working independently to achieve desire outcome.
  • Learning agility and capacity to rapidly learn the ETF business, including development of a keen understanding of the drivers of success in the ETF business.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, ability to identify root issues and to recommend solutions that support the company’s business objectives.
