THE ROLE  


As a Senior Logistics Engineer on our team, you’ll play an integral role in shaping a cutting-edge Warehouse Management System (WMS) that will be the backbone of our growing operations. You'll have the unique opportunity to build and optimize solutions that directly impact our booming customer base and the efficiency of our expanding warehouses. Working alongside a passionate team, you’ll develop innovative features that will streamline workflows, boost productivity, and drive accuracy across our fulfillment network. Your expertise will help us set new standards for operational excellence and scalability, ensuring our WMS can support our ambitions to deliver faster and smarter. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and optimize warehouse management and logistics systems to improve operational efficiency and throughput.
  • Develop and manage seamless integrations between warehouse systems and multiple host systems, ensuring smooth data flows and accurate reporting.
  • Partner with internal teams, including operations, IT, and business stakeholders, to identify and gather requirements for scalable logistics solutions.
  • Architect and implement solutions that support high availability, scalability, and resilience, with 24/7 operational requirements in mind.
  • Follow internal software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices for all project work and system enhancements.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional and system testing to validate solution integrity and reliability before deployment.
  • Support day-to-day logistics operations, proactively troubleshooting and resolving system issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous flow.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule to provide 24x7 on-call support, addressing urgent logistics system needs as they arise.
  • Travel to warehouse/fulfillment centers as needed (approximately 10-15%) to support onsite implementations, system rollouts, or operational assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience with HighJump or similar WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder) in a fulfillment, warehousing, or distribution environment.
  • Understanding of how these systems support complex logistics workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Solid experience with tools such as Advantage Architect, Webwise PageEditor, SSRS Reports, Bartender, and T-SQL, enabling the customization and enhancement of WMS solutions to meet unique business requirements.
  • Proficient in relational database design, development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, particularly within high-availability logistics or warehousing environments.
  • Ability to ensure databases are optimized for rapid data retrieval and robust performance.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of clearly translating technical insights into actionable business recommendations and effectively gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex system issues within the logistics context.
  • Strong analytical abilities, combined with an understanding of business priorities, enable the creation of solutions that are technically sound and aligned with operational goals.
  • Ability to interpret and deconstruct complex back-end business logic, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements that improve system efficiency, data accuracy, and overall productivity.
  • Eagerness to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in logistics technology, WMS software developments, and best practices in warehouse and supply chain management.

  • Compensation Description - The total cash compensation range for this position which includes base and bonus is $110,000-145,000/Per Year. 
  • Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
