Your Mission:
Support critical systems by managing and maintaining Linux-based environments in both physical and virtual infrastructures. You'll help ensure the security and reliability of the systems by addressing IAVA findings, deploying automation with Ansible, and supporting VMware environments.
You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:
- A seasoned system administrator with a strong Linux background
- Comfortable managing both physical and virtual server environments
- Proactive in identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities
- Experienced in automating system tasks using Ansible
- Detail-oriented and skilled in maintaining secure, stable environments
A Day in the Life:
- Monitor and manage Linux systems for performance and security
- Research and apply solutions to close IAVA findings
- Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Support and troubleshoot VMware environments
- Collaborate with team members to maintain critical systems
Must Have:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree)
- At least 3 years of Linux system administration experience
- Experience with physical and virtual servers
- Ansible experience
- Experience building and maintaining VMware environments
Nice to Have:
- AWS experience
- Scripting skills in Python or Perl
- Docker experience
