About The Role:
In the Senior Legal Counsel, Technology role you will be responsible for providing support related to a wide range of technology-related agreements and projects.
Your primary focus will be on reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing technology contracts, ensuring they align with the company's legal, IT, and business processes and objectives while mitigating potential risks. In addition, you will lead and oversee various tech projects related to AI, licensing and other areas.
This position requires strong knowledge of the technology field and intellectual property, data privacy, AI and contract law.
Your Daily Tasks Will Entail:

Advising on various technology agreements, including: software licensing agreements, cloud computing agreements (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), IT services agreements (support, maintenance, development) and enterprise services agreements.

Working closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Product, Legal and Security) on various tech projects.

Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on tech-related legal issues, including intellectual property, AI and other.

Staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations affecting the tech industry.

Contributing to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to technology.

Supporting the use of technology to simplify and improve the provision of legal services.
Your Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in working with tech contracts and/or intellectual property, AI, regulatory and data privacy matters (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

Strong Latvian and English, both written and spoken.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with different teams.
