The Senior Lead Product Owner is a master at leading and fostering a high-performing team along with bridging the desires of the customer and the capabilities of the technology, removing barriers to software development. You will be responsible for leading a team, grooming the product backlog and have insight into technical requirements of individual stories thus creating a more efficient user experience.
What you’ll do

Lead revenue initiatives with the ability to develop a strategic vision and roadmap while balancing it with delivery of near-term results that are aligned with execution.

Lead data quality initiatives, design and implement monitoring dashboards.

Provides guidance to other POs to understand the needs of the customers and stakeholders; Strong collaboration and relationships with Engineering, QA and Architecture partners

Leads and influences the process of initial estimates and value/effort assessment to define scope of quarterly increments in partnership with technology partners and more junior POs; Drives the analysis of how work should be sequenced and the implications to the critical path

You will serve as the conduit between user needs, technical capabilities, and engineering requirements, developing these into roadmaps and requirements for the Agile backlog of a development team

You will lead the backlog refinement of features and user stories and ensure delivery teams are prepared to meet sprint deadlines

You will work with others on a day-to-day basis to help make decisions on what is in scope and provide input into functional decisions

You will focus on product level impediments and process changes to enable faster and higher quality software

You make tough decisions on trade-offs between features, quality and dates in order to provide the best solution for our clients

You ensure Product leadership is aware of key issues and changes, and provide them with the right information and recommendations to resolve issues

You work with Product Managers to ensure the features in a release represent what is needed and that return on investment is in line with their expectations

Lead PI Planning Preparation and Participation each quarter
What experience you need
-
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required
-
7+ years’ in experience managing product backlogs and requirements for Agile delivery teams in a Product Owner capacity
-
3+ years of demonstrated experience as a team lead or leading other product management individuals via influence in a highly matrixed environment and across product portfolios containing multiple products
-
Working experience leading large initiatives with Agile methodology, leading Agile ceremonies and Lean product management required

Cloud certification strongly preferred

You're an experienced Senior Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilizing Agile / Scrum / Kanban.

You have a deep understanding of web service technologies, user interface/interaction, batch systems, and knowledge of systems development and project management lifecycles

You have the ability build strong relationships with partners across the business; ensure that you understand their role, the needs of their area, and their requirements throughout the project

Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP (AWS and Azure are a plus)

You understand the value of product ownership and can effectively communicate the value proposition

You have experience working with multiple partners in a global setting with varying level of needs

You bring a consultative, creative and process driven approach to your work

You have an aptitude for handling multiple concurrent demands and prioritizing responsibilities in a dynamic, high energy environment

Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders, make people feel heard and understood, are able to say no and stand up for tough calls needed to better serve the business and our clients

Experience in working at a financial institution or as a direct user of ecommerce products
