Overview:

In this role Senior Lead Engineer will be supporting on Creating Airport models for flight simulator for Pilot training.

 Primary Responsibilities: 

• The successful applicant will need to ensure all airport content developed meets internal and International regulatory standards. 
• The successful applicant will need to understand Collins’ internal and external customers’ requirements and develop appropriate documentation and content. 
• An ability to manage their time effectively be self-directed (where appropriate), prioritizing tasks against sometimes challenging timeframes. 

Experience or Skill Must/Desirable: 

• 7+ year experience in 3D Modelling and Texturing. 
• Experience in the development of game or simulation content. 
• Strong visualization skills and Knowledge of modelling requirements in integrated gaming or Synthetic environment Synthetic environment development. 
• Knowledgeable in Photoshop to edit or create textures.  
• Experience with Unreal or Unity Engine.  
• Programming experience a plus (C++/C#/Python with OpenGL/DirectX). 
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills. 
• Self-motivated and passionate team player. 

Key Competencies: 

• Advanced proficiency in Visualization is must.  
• Advanced proficiency in Modeling Tools like Creator/Maya/3D StudioMax/Blender is must. 
• Intermediate proficiency using Substance3D is a plus. 
• Intermediate proficiency in Unreal or Unity Engine is a plus. 
• Intermediate proficiency in Programming (C, C++/Python with OpenGL/DirectX) is a plus. 
• Intermediate proficiency in photoshop Scripts/Actions is advantage. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR 
• In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
