Job Responsibilities

• The responsible person will contribute as a key analyst supporting both production and implementation tasks/activities. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within a variety of business units.
• As SAP PP specialist, the candidate should have a good functional knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP modules.

• He/she should be very familiar with the Manufacturing processes. He/She should be comfortable with components of SAP PP such as BOM ( PP-BD-BOM), Production version, Work Center, Routings ,Production Planning Cycle & the concerned dataset ( table structure).
• Work with business users to interpret and refine business requirements on projects.
• Translate business requirements into designs and specifications that consider business process, industry trends and SAP best practices.
• As lead of small efforts will act as project manager, business analyst, and technical lead.
• On large efforts may fill a combination of business analyst, technical lead, or individual contributor role.
• Lead or support all phases of testing including managing test data, devising test cases and resolving test findings.
• Contribute to or lead training and documentation efforts in support of project work.
• Support multiple business units.
• Work with and coordinate across multiple technical teams.
• Provide level three production support for issues and enhancement requests.
• Provide analysis and estimates for upcoming tasks.
• Demonstrate an understanding and proficiency in business analysis best practices as well as hands on SAP design and configuration.
• Strong people skills, business skills and SAP skills are crucial for success.
• Will apply lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement and product design.
• Use technical and communication skills with business knowledge to own the successful resolution of business problems.
• Needs to be able to communicate well with nontechnical business users at any levels or location.
• Needs to be able to communicate well with technical team, both on and offshore.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Ability to work well in a virtual team environment with peers; business partners and end users.
• Self-directed and experienced with minimal management oversight.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers; peers and team members.
• Must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple customer, business partners and business priorities.
• Ability to lead in a fast-moving, high-pressure software development and deployment environment.
• Ability to negotiate with business and resolve internal and external conflicts.
• Experience/knowledge working in the Aerospace & Defense industry is a plus
