Job Description

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.

20+ Endava engineers are building and maintaining tailor-made cloud-based automation solutions that simplify the setup of customers' ecosystems in the cloud (AWS and Azure). Our team is responsible for all aspects of the feature development, maintenance of the existing features, testing, DevOps/Cloud automation, and collecting the metrics to drive the quality of the product. 

Qualifications

Key requirements:

• Expert knowledge and experience in Java Core
• Experience with Java-based frameworks 
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)
• Databases knowledge (SQL)
• Working with REST APIs
• Experience using Docker or other container runtimes.
• Understanding of distributed systems and related concepts
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer

In addition to the essentials, it would be great if you have:

• Experience with Python, or JavaScript development
• Experience working with various Linux flavors, preferably RHEL
• Scripting experience with BASH or similar
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools
