Senior IT Procurement Manager

The Role
The Senior IT procurement manager will have a global responsibility of managing the strategic IT procurement activities.
The transactional procurement is done by a outsourcing partner, and you will be directly handling the largest and most business critical global deals.
This is a senior position, and you will be expected to drive and negotiate these deals from start to finish
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT categories, including hardware, software/SaaS, and IT professional services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Procurement Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing insights, guidance, and solutions on IT procurement strategies and decisions.
• Category Management: Define and implement robust category management strategies to optimize spend, reduce risk, and enhance value creation.
• Vendor Negotiation and Management: Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements with IT vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, pricing structures, and technology advancements to drive innovation and cost efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT, Business functions, finance, and legal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs and ensure seamless execution.
• Spend Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, and optimization across IT categories.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations, or category management, with deep knowledge of IT products, services, and supplier markets.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Communication and relationship management skills, with experience advising senior stakeholders.
