Overview:
Sentara Health is looking for a IT professional to join our team as Senior IT analyst !
As a senior IT analyst you will be responsible for
• Managing projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Education
-
Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
• Advanced SQL skills using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (5+ years)
• Requirements gathering
o Ability to create technical specifications
• Experience working with large datasets (preferably loading big data to a database)
• JIRA Experience (2+ years)
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and handle many requests simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills
