Overview
We are seeking an iOS Engineer with extensive experience in large-scale applications, enterprise solutions, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, proficiency with performance optimization tools, and a deep understanding of platform architecture. Experience with Flutter is a plus.
Project Overview
The primary focus of this role is to conduct a comprehensive code assessment of a native iOS project. This assessment will evaluate the project's structure, scalability, and architecture. Following the evaluation, you will lead a workshop with the engineering team and other stakeholders to review the findings and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
Contract Details
- Location: Brazil or Spain
- Contract Duration: 6 weeks (with potential extension and contract-to-hire)
- Tentative Start Date: March 3rd, 2025
- Required: Availability to work during United States Eastern or Central time zones
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an in-depth code assessment of the native iOS project.
- Evaluate the project's structure, scalability, and architecture.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization strategies.
- Lead a workshop with the engineering team and stakeholders to review findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in native iOS development.
- Strong background in app optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience working with large-scale applications and enterprise projects.
- Proven ability to lead iOS-focused assessments and workshops.
- Expertise in performance measurement tools for native iOS.
- Understanding of best practices in software engineering and architecture.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Flutter experience is a plus
Hourly Rates
- Spain: Up to €50/hour
- Brazil: Up to USD $35/hour
