We are looking for an experienced iOS developer that is passionate about creating solutions that combine the real world with technology. You should be excited about work on innovative pressure-sensing tech, 3D motion capture, great user experiences, and native iOS apps.

On the Retül team, we work hard every day to continue to be the leader in the bike fit industry through innovative high-tech solutions leveraged by our global network of trained Retül fitters.

 

We work out of our dog friendly, award winning Louisville office 4 days per week and one day per week from home. There’s a standard weekly lunch ride from the office, as well as several other rides most weeks. In the summer, we host a criterium race series called Tuesday Night Thunder across the parking lot. We also have an amazing espresso machine where we often compare our latte art skills.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Working with the Retül digital team, you will interface with designers, product owners, and back-end developers to write refined apps that meet and often exceed the needs of our riders and retailers
  • Communicate results to a diverse audience, including fellow developers, product owners, and company leadership
  • Support technical issues elevated through Rider Care and Retailer Care (customer support) teams
  • Manage a clean CI/CD pipeline to deliver small robust changes frequently
  • Provide technical guidance and answers to product owners from concept charter to development, implementation and maintenance
  • Ensure digital assets are up to date with latest best practices for security, data management, and keeping pace with phone and OS capabilities

WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

  • Knack for simple and elegant solutions to problems
  • Articulate and passionate about explaining technical issues in a clear and understandable way
  • Knowledge of iOS design patterns and guidelines
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Ability to ask the right questions to innovate.  “What do I need to know to make this better?”
  • Strong understanding of iOS frameworks along with Swift
  • Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI
  • Professional Experience with closures, Combine, and async/await for handling asynchronous operations
  • Skilled in developing test cases and implementing automated test suites
  • Experience with BLE communication and devices
  • Savvy with C/C++, Python, or Qt is a bonus
  • Background in 3D motion capture, 3D animation, AI, or ML also a bonus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of software development experience
  • 6+ years iOS development experience
  • 4+ years Swift experience

LOCATION:

  • Louisville, CO.
  • 4 days in office

PAY

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations: 

Colorado Base Pay Range: ($125,000  - $159,250  annual) 

*At Specialized, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience, skills, certification, and location.  In addition to base pay we offer bonus, full benefits and 401K matching.
