Senior Internal Communications Partner
Location: Berlin (Hybrid) or Remotely based in Europe
About the Role
As a Senior Internal Communications Partner, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how employees connect with our mission, leadership, and company culture—especially in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role goes beyond messaging—it’s about building a strong, engaged workforce by ensuring employees feel informed, valued, and inspired through times of growth, transformation, and occasional rapid change.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders and teams across the business to deliver impactful communications that drive engagement, all while staying agile in the face of shifting priorities and organizational structures. From onboarding to career growth, you’ll help shape the employee lifecycle, ensuring that every stage—from first impressions to long-term engagement—is underpinned by clear, meaningful communication.

What You’ll Do:
Develop & Implement the Internal Communications Strategy

Design and execute a global internal communications strategy that aligns with company priorities and fosters transparency.

Collaborate with regional and senior stakeholders to ensure messaging resonates across diverse teams.

Deliver multi-channel, inclusive communications that enhance employee engagement, culture, and productivity.
Enhance the Employee & Employer Journey

Support key projects that strengthen the employee experience—from onboarding to career growth and beyond.

Shape how employees experience the company culture, ensuring communications reflect our values, priorities, and people-first approach.

Work closely with Talent & Employer Branding teams to craft compelling internal narratives that attract top talent.
Lead Strategic Internal & Executive Communications

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, crafting impactful executive messaging and thought leadership.

Elevate leadership visibility by helping executives communicate company vision, priorities, and cultural messages effectively.

Ensure employees feel connected to leadership through transparent and engaging storytelling.
Support People-Focused & Organizational Initiatives

Partner with the People Team to drive communications around key HR and engagement initiatives.

Contribute to projects that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and internal processes, ensuring they are clearly communicated and successfully implemented.

Apply project management skills to help structure and roll out initiatives that improve the overall employee experience.
Change & Transformation Communications

Support organizational change efforts—such as restructures, leadership transitions, or mergers—by crafting timely communications that keep employees informed and engaged.

Develop and execute change communication strategies that reduce uncertainty and foster alignment.

Adapt quickly to evolving business needs, ensuring messages remain clear, consistent, and compelling.
Measure & Optimize Communication Effectiveness

Establish KPIs and success metrics to assess the impact of internal communications and engagement initiatives.

Gather employee feedback and continuously refine messaging and strategy to keep communications relevant and impactful.

Demonstrate agility in measuring results, pivoting your approach as business priorities shift.
What You Bring
Core Competencies:

A strong background in internal communications with a passion for driving employee engagement in a rapidly growing, changing environment.

Proven ability to pivot quickly, maintaining clarity and consistency even under tight deadlines or shifting business conditions.

Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to balance multiple projects alongside core communications work.
-
Project management experience or a demonstrated ability to coordinate and support employee-focused initiatives.

A natural storyteller who brings ideas to life through compelling narratives.

Outstanding writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Essential Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in executive and internal communications within a high growth/scale-up environment.

Some experience supporting or managing employee engagement or culture-related projects.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, HR, or a related field.
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting employee experience, engagement, or people-focused initiatives.

A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Native English speaker/writer.
