Job Description
Position Purpose
In this role, you will have strong technical knowledge of Integration platforms and development You will be accountable for developing, updating and supporting the ETL and B2B messaging and event-based API interfaces in our deployed integration environments, with an agile methodology.
This role is positioned within the Integration Platform team. This integration platform ecosystem in Brambles supports enterprise application integration, business integration, real time data streaming into data platforms and support critical business operation in supply chain, finance and other business areas within Brambles.
We are working on an exciting program to modernize our integration platform with ambition to deliver greater accessibility and visibility of our data across the organization. We are looking to roll out federated ways of working with multiple IT organizations. In this position you will have the opportunity to be part of working in this exciting program.
Key Accountabilities
Design, develop and support reusable integration interfaces, which can be deployed into a mature, stable integration environment. Maintain cohesion at the design, coding and architectural framework level of the platform as a critical asset for delivering value by acting with transparency and documenting each progress.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. Ensure the scalability, reliability security, and performance of microservice applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
Define full ETL, B2B, API lifecycle, including analysing requirements, building type definitions, transformation, deployment, and on-going support. Ability to balance multiple tasks, while working with application and business teams to deliver on project requirements. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Contribute to the Integration Center of Enablement (ICOE). Building reusable code for future use and reduction of technical debt, ensuring architecture principles, design standards and best practices are adhered and play an active role in collaborating with integration community within Brambles for the successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Experience
5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Integration design and development, with a focus on Boomi, Mulesoft or similar IPaaS platforms
10 years overall experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions including ability to define Integration Mapping and create technical design diagrams with proficiency in interface development, testing, and issue resolution.
Experience in analysing integration use-case requirements in collaboration with BAs, Data architects, functional teams etc and developing integration solutions adhering to established standards and patterns. Ability to document technical designs, requirements, and test scripts effectively.
Expertise in monitoring production environments and managing error handling processes. Experience in DevOps and CI/CD approach for integration deployment. Experience in integrating with ServiceNow platform for creating CI’s for driving change management and incidence management.
Experience with B2B, with a focus on trading partner management and EDI, including X12 and EDIFACT standard formats.
Clear understanding of ETL principles and API design and management, including ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in multi-step interfaces.
Experience in programming skills, unix shell scripting (korne, bash) & cron scheduling
Preferable 2-3 experience using Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) or Mulesoft.
