Job Description:
Wells Fargo is seeking an individual who will support internal and external Fixed Income clients, ensuring efficient and controlled execution of post-trade operations. This person will be responsible for managing operational risk and overseeing trade lifecycle events like trade matching, allocation, and confirmation & affirmation. This role requires engagement with managers, functional colleagues, external clients, and business stakeholders. They will exercise independent judgement within established policies and procedures while driving process improvements through collaboration with key stakeholders. This person will have a strong understanding of operational controls, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
-
4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
-
2+ years of Broker-Dealer Operations experience.
-
Understanding Broadridge products including but are not limited to Impact, GLOSS and BPS
-
Understanding of the trade lifecycle, capital markets products, industry trends, regulatory changes and industry-wide best practices. Proven ability to lead projects/initiatives supporting a variety of product areas with high risk and complexity

Experience working with custodians, depositories, agents and brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of events to client accounts and to appropriately manage risk.

Experience with trade matching, allocation, and confirmation & affirmation.

BS/BA degree in finance or related fields

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to identify and implement change: Including process efficiencies.

Able to build strong industry working relationships with all levels of the organization

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail, organization and prioritization.

Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point as well as other Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, etc.).
