Role overview   
 

Sitting within Customer Operations, this role will enable the call centre operation to make informed decisions faster, through the provision of high quality dashboards, reporting and MI. You’ll be maintaining, continually improving  and developing the suite of reporting available to contact centre management and deliver critical insights so that Hastings Direct can achieve our goals efficiently and effectively.


Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:   
 

  •   Providing insight to the Contact Centre Leadership Team on all contract centre activity, ensuring they can answer questions, solve problems and make decisions

  • Using analytics skills and tools, and historic data, to produce predictive analytics around customer interactions within the contact centre

  • Linking multiple data sources to produce enriched insight and identifying trends, correlations and causes and developing a schedule of insight production

  • Proactively identifying needs for on-off, bespoke insight to prove or disprove theories, working closely with the Contact Centre Leadership Team to ensure all insights offer support for their strategies

  • Creating high quality insight, visualisations and presentations to communicate findings and ensuring data accuracy, integrity and timely updates in reporting systems

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, promoting best practices in data analysis, insight and BI tool usage

  

  

Essential skills we would love you to have:    

  

  •   Experience of producing high quality data analytics, predictive analytics and insight with the ability to work with large data sets and significant amounts of information

  • Strong technical knowledge (essential – substantial SQL knowledge with the ability to train/mentor others, excellent ability to creative Power BI dashboards, understanding of Cloud technologies with development approaches, tools and techniques – such as Snowflake)

  • Demonstrable experience of strong stakeholder management skills – must be able to communicate technical terms and subjects to non-technical stakeholders where required
