We're looking for a creative, motivated individual to join our growing social team at Zappos. This role will be responsible for building creator & influencer partnerships, and executing omni-channel campaign activations all designed to connect inspiring storytelling to delivering WOW while driving brand equity, engagement, and sales. You will support campaign execution and measure performance to discover areas of customer growth on major social channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube and more), with different types of creative (images, videos, short and long form content, etc). The ideal candidate will successfully deliver campaigns that are on-target with campaign goals, endemic to each social platform, and bespoke to each creator's channels.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the influencer marketing team and drive the continued expansion of the program, developing and fostering long-term creator growth, own end-to-end management of brand-creator relations, evangelize influencer marketing cross-functionally to key stakeholders, grow creator extensions into a key business driver, and be a leader across the social team

  • Oversee relationship with creators & influencers, social media platform creator networks, agencies and other partnership organizations

  • Developer and foster long-term partnerships with macro creators, micro creators, and everything in between

  • Possess a proven track record of building programs, driving creator growth and end-to-end management of brand-creator relations

  • Steer the rapidly accelerating and growing creator team and evangelize the creator-brand dynamic to key internal and external stakeholders

  • Work closely with the social media, affiliate, PR, legal and cross-functional marketing teams across the enterprise

  • Oversee and refine the implementation of always-on and activation-based creator strategy for the brand across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other emerging platforms

  • Drive insights, recommendations and direction across the creator ecosystem

  • Evaluate and execute on both owned and creator-run platforms

  • Define objectives and OKRs/KPIs across campaigns, and deliver returns on investment; identify insights and effectiveness of creator relationships and campaign executions to increase the awareness and consideration of Zappos

  • Have a deep understanding of the creator landscape and how to authentically foster the right partnerships

  • Set department and org goals for maximizing brand reach, revenue, and share of voice deliver projects inclusive of roadmap, channel strategy, campaign activation, and partnership development

  • Able to confidently and expertly present in highly-visible leadership meetings

  • Serve as a key leader of the social team; lead by example and be a steward for brand culture; be able to have difficult conversations for the business

  • Able to prioritize and delegate, and work on a high volume of concurrent tracking projects

Qualifications

  • A minimum 5-7 years of work experience in a related area (e.g. Partnerships or Business Development, Marketing/Advertising/Digital, Affiliate, Media)

  • ​Direct career experience in digital media, social/influencer networks and platforms, retail, and/or e-commerce

  • You have a deep knowledge and expertise in the creator/influencer space, across relationship & talent management, platform trends, measurement, and affiliate ecosystems, and influencer marketing

  • You're naturally in-the-know on up-and-coming influencer personalities, trends, and communities

  • You love building from the ground up, and are a true self-starter in creating net-new, innovative programs, strategies, and content-rich storytelling moments

  • Established industry relationships and experience working with media partners and/or influencer networks

  • You're experienced in launching new social and/or influencer campaigns, with success in achieving brand and/or performance marketing objectives

  • You're a collaborator at heart, and enjoy working with other talented team members and external partners

This role is open to candidates physically located in the following metropolitan statistical areas: Austin, TX; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; and Seattle, WA. Candidates who are not physically located in one of these areas may not be considered for this role.

The expected base pay range for this position is $83,500-95,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
