The Position
Join our dynamic Security Technology team within the Technology Services and Cybersecurity organization. We are dedicated to safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring the highest standards of security. As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies.
Role Overview: The Senior IAM Engineer will report to the Associate Director of IAM Engineering and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and effectiveness of IAM technologies, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Federation, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). You will be a key contributor to our IAM strategy and the integration of Zero Trust methodology.
Responsibilities:
Primary Activities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for Privileged Access Management, including Just-in-Time privileged account access.
- Ensure IAM solutions align with security architecture and strategy, incorporating industry best practices and meeting performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
- Integrate and align the IAM strategy with a Zero Trust security approach.
- Coordinate with external resources and partners to implement and maintain IAM security tools.
- Create technical designs, configurations, and drawings for current and future state security capabilities.
Secondary Activities:
- Engage with business units to understand their needs and ensure IAM solutions are agile, business-friendly, and secure.
- Conduct presentations, awareness sessions, mentoring, and instruction on IAM and Zero Trust for various audiences.
- Collaborate with other security engineering projects in areas such as network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and security analytics.
- Support critical incidents requiring IAM Engineering expertise.
- Maintain awareness of cyber-attack tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to guide IAM technology configuration and strategy.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in IAM engineering and/or operations.
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of IAM best practices and software solutions such as Delinea Secret Server, Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, etc.
- Experience with IAM technologies such as PAM and single sign-on (SSO).
- Ability to drive architectural design decisions, solve technical problems, and improve systems and process
