We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support the HR Director with day to day HR needs. The ideal candidate will have experience as a HR Business Partner, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals. This role will provide guidance and support on a wide range of HR issues throughout all areas of the business. The primary responsibilities will include training plan development and utilization of our new Learning Management System along with supporting the HR Director with employee relations and issues. The remaining time will be spent supporting the overall team with HR tasks and projects. This position collaborates with all departments throughout the organization.

 

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Provide HR partnership to the HR Director, for both strategic and tactical initiatives, day to day HR support and execution of strategies
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues; provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase employee satisfaction and retention
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Provides consultation/coaching/training to managers on performance and talent development
  • Support organizational development initiatives, including change management and leadership development programs
  • Working with department management, own the overall performance review process using Lattice
  • Manage the overall training and Learning Management System and act as a resource for the training admins in other departments
  • Identifies training/coaching/mentoring needs for divisions, departments, managers and employees
  • Leads analysis on issues, proposes solutions, and helps refine internal processes
  • Ensure forms are maintained by HR Coordinator including but not limited to the Corrective Action Process forms, New Hire Checklist, Term & Transfer Checklist, Hiring Applications, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience as a human resources business partner
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives that support business objectives
  • Familiarity with DayForce, Lattice, and/or LinkedIn Learning.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • PHR or SPHR Certifications
