POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to people practices including recruitment, engagement, development, retention, and legal compliance. This role requires the ability to perform complex HR functions to support the organization's human resources programs and initiatives, including but not limited to learning and development, recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent and operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, development, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
  • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
  • Works to develop long-term workforce strategies aligned with business objectives, forecasting future staffing needs, and identifying potential talent gaps. 
  • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Facilitates implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
  • Designs, develops and implements complex HR service delivery workflows that align with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Conducts classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
  • Creates detailed functional and technical documentation process maps and system configuration guides.
  • Ensures and maintains accuracy and integrity of HR data.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Assists HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets.
  • Guides and/or assists with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
  • Analyzes, evaluates and develops HR programs, systems and policy improvements.
  • Works closely with the Head of HR Operations to ensure operational efficiencies
  • Works closely with HRIS and external vendors as need to build fit for purpose dashboards, scorecards and other visual tools as necessary.
  • Works closely with the Head of HR Operations to manage and monitor the HR budget all the while providing insights for the purposes of informing budget decisions and identifying areas of cost optimization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Operational oversight of analytics workflows and processes, project management supervision and third-party vendor supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field required.
  • At least seven years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and partnering with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying workforce trends.
  • Experience with interactive data visualization software.
  • Systems management and reporting tools.
  • Previous experience in leading and developing large teams.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

In addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software including but not limited to PowerPoint, Excel and power BI.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (Workday), payroll (SAP), and similar employee management software.
  • Ability to work across IT, Business, and financial systems and business data sources (WD, ADP, Sales force etc)
  • Comfortable leading cross functional teams to implement system and process improvements 
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal Indivior teams.
  • Results driven with strong project management skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change where appropriate.
  • Strong compatibility with Indivior culture.
  • Possesses a high level of organization and the ability to muti-task and manage time effectively.
