Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Works proactively partnering with HR, Legal, Finance and other applicable stakeholders on policy communications and change management.
  • Proactively identifies upcoming legal and regulatory changes that impact the organization and develops compliance plans, in consultation with stakeholders, which leverage best practices and meet the needs of the business.
  • Serve as the HR point of contact on integration activities for mergers/acquisitions and divestitures collaborating with Corporate Development, Integer Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, HR COE teams, and acquired company counterparts.
  • Provide M&A HR expertise to the deal team.
  • Lead HR due diligence activities: assess and analyze risk and identify recommendations for potential mitigation activities; prepare due diligence reports & executive summaries.
  • Conducts due diligence interviews with counterparts to further understand HR programs, company culture, and any differences between leadership and general employee offerings.
  • Review and identify potential HR risks and liabilities which could impact the deal valuation and/or integration.
  • Prepare and issue pre/post-signing employment letters and all other necessary employee facing change management materials.
  • Identify, coordinate, engage and hold accountable resources across HR and functional teams to facilitate and enable integration activities according to plan and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage the project and change management plans to execute HR due diligence and integration activities to achieve desired end state including transitioning staff to Integer HR programs and policies.
  • Conduct HR retrospective at conclusion of deal.
  • Ensure internal and external HR compliance is maintained.
  • Assess areas of risk, alert management teams proactively and lead cross functional projects to mitigate risk to ensure adherence to compliance requirements and internal standards.
  • Lead and support other assigned global HR compliance initiatives as assigned, including but not limited to: Facilitating internal HR compliance audits, supporting workforce actions and separations with pay.
  • Develops and implements governance models for the Human Resources function.
  • Plans and manages audits of the HR function to identify areas of non-conformance and develops strategies to remediate any identified risks.
  • Continuously evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of controls and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manages reduction-in-force actions across the global organization in partnership with HR and legal counsel.
  • Prepares reports for internal customers and external regulatory bodies as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Experience:  
  • 7+ years related experience in human resources functions.
  • Experience in cross-functional areas, such as HRIS, workforce planning, organization design, total rewards, and change management preferred.
  • Experience managing projects and matrixed teams with a global scope.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong project management skillset including the ability to lead the planning and execution of complex projects requiring coordination of work across multiple stakeholders, negotiation, consensus building, problem resolution, prioritization skills and consistent demonstration of process improvement.
  • Proven experience leading HR M&A diligence and integration activities.
  • Working knowledge across HR functions including HR operations, organizational development, talent management, compensation, benefits, HR systems, talent acquisition, mobility, and immigration.
  • Must be able to think and act independently, be a self-starter and team player.
  • Ability to build, nurture & influence partnerships across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise positively with all levels of management including C-suite as well as the ability to advise, consult, challenge and influence others.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities of collaboration across boundaries and working in highly matrixed, ambiguous and challenging situations.
