The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for providing expert HR guidance, support, and solutions to management and employees. This role involves handling employee relations, policy and procedure development and implementation, leading projects and working under limited supervision. This role is based out of Rensselaer, IN and would require this individual to be on site regularly.
Role Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry best practices.

Conduct investigations and support managers in handling workplace disputes.

Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.

Educate employees and managers on HR policies, ensuring consistent application across the organization.

Identify training needs and facilitate learning programs.

Assist with recruitment strategies, including interviewing and selection processes.

Lead or contribute to HR initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, well-being programs, and employee engagement.

Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with HR reporting requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on advisory or business partnering roles.

Experience in employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
