The Ground Intel (GI) team is a one-of-a-kind breed of individuals who can navigate the fraud underworld and back to the world of busting bad actors. GI Team protects the Grab ecosystem by always monitoring fraud activities and conducting different fraud research. We ensure that Grab's platform is the most trusted platform in Southeast Asia.

Get to Know the Role

As a Senior Ground Intel Analyst, you will help find and address risks associated with new product launches and modifications within Grab. Your main responsibilities will include managing risk controls, conducting ground surveillance, investigating fraud activities, and collaborating with different teams to provide a secure platform environment.

You will report directly to the Risk Strategy Manager II. This is a hybrid role, where you will need to travel to our Ortigas office.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

• You will conduct risk identification and assessment for new product launches and modifications.
• You will conduct fraud simulations on identified suspicious and high-risk activities, providing solutions to eliminate these activities from Grab's platform.
• You will support internal and external teams in investigation and stress test activities.
• You will identify device and app abuse scenarios to support account abuse defense.
• You will collaborate with GrabDefence Enterprise to provide professional services to clients, including potential fraud research activities, platform risk assessments, and ground surveillance.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You will Need

• Handle and maintain the confidentiality of information.
• Capability to work independently and make decisions while on the ground.
• Have an established network of informants.
• 6 years experience a similar role with risk management knowledge and partner engagement
• Experience with the fraud space, with hands-on knowledge in fraud, payments, e-commerce, risk policy development, or risk enforcement work.
• Willingness to relocate or travel frequently.
• Must have a valid passport.
