ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
Herschel Supply Co is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative team. The successful candidate will be a motivated and organized individual who cares about design as much as we do, and has a point of view on their work. If you’re enthusiastic, have a passion for design, and the desire to create and execute experiences that people have never seen before, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of digital projects, from branding projects and supporting web user flow, to full cross-media campaigns and producing digital assets. You’ll collaborate with our Senior designer, Art Director, Digital Marketing Team and other departments across the business, with the goal of helping to establish design direction and consistency for the brand.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Graphic Designer will:
- Support UI/UX design
- Design, produce, and manage digital marketing assets for web
- Design for social media, digital ads, email newsletters, and promotional assets
- Work with the Art Director and Senior Designer to develop the visuals for campaigns, projects, and promotional events
- Work closely with Ecom Team to execute digital assets
- Execute cross-channel designs and seasonal assets
- Collaborate with the Ecom and Marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand standards and meet the usability requirements
- Share ideas and work as part of a team to bring marketing ideas to fruition visually.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed undergraduate degree from a BA graphic design program (or similar)
- Several years experience in a similar role is essential
- Competent in the use of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Lightroom etc.)
- Understanding and experience in UI/UX design
- Solid layout and typographic skills
- Strong experience developing visual language, concept sketches, presentation decks and style guides
- Knowledge of HTML5 Google Ad Programs
- Experience working closely with agencies to ensure that all executions are on brand
- The ability to interpret design briefs and present work based on design rationale
- The ability to work alongside, and communicate clearly with fellow designers and copywriters
- Good organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects at once, and work quickly with tight deadlines.
- Motion graphic is a plus

The annual salary for this role falls within the range of $75,000 - $94,000 CAD. We welcome diverse talents, and if you don't feel like you tick all the boxes yet in terms of experience, we'll consider adjusting the scope of work and salary range to align with your individual strengths.
