ROLE OVERVIEW: 

Are you passionate about AI, cloud technologies, and building intelligent solutions that make a real impact? We are looking for a Senior GenAI Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and wants to shape the future of AI-driven financial applications.

In this role, you will develop and implement cutting-edge GenAI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), transcription models, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to revolutionize how financial institutions process data, extract insights, and enhance automation. You’ll work with Google Cloud (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and AWS to build scalable and intelligent AI-powered applications.

We’re tackling real-world AI applications in finance:

  • Transcription Models & Conversational AI: Automating the transcription of financial calls, meetings, and customer interactions, enabling intelligent data extraction, summarization, and compliance monitoring.
  • AI-Powered Documentation Processing: Ingesting existing project documentation, regulatory guidelines, and financial reports into AI models, allowing seamless retrieval of key insights and streamlining compliance processes.
  • Code-Aware AI Applications: Feeding existing application codebases into AI to enhance development workflows, assist engineers with context-aware suggestions, and optimize code maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop & Deploy AI-Powered Applications: Design, build, and deploy scalable, production-ready Python applications that integrate GenAI models, transcription models, and intelligent search capabilities for financial institutions.
  • Optimize AI Search & Retrieval Performance: Implement vector search, document chunking, and embedding techniques to enhance accuracy and relevance in AI-powered financial knowledge retrieval.
  • Leverage Transcription & NLP Models: Develop AI-driven transcription solutions that automatically process and analyze financial conversations, extracting key insights, compliance-related information, and sentiment analysis.
  • AI-Powered Documentation Processing: Design and implement AI-driven ingestion pipelines that process and structure existing project documentation, making it searchable and contextually relevant for financial institutions.
  • Code-Aware AI Development: Build AI models that can understand and interact with existing application code, providing context-aware suggestions and accelerating software development in financial systems.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Integration: Leverage GCP, Azure, or AWS to deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance AI-driven solutions.
  • Enhance AI-Driven User Interfaces (Bonus): Ideally, develop intuitive front-end applications using Angular or React to enhance AI-driven user experiences.
  • Automate & Optimize Deployment: Manage infrastructure automation and AI model deployment pipelines using Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to integrate GenAI into financial applications.
  • Engage with Stakeholders & Clients: Translate business and technical requirements into AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and financial industry trends.
  • Maintain High Standards & Best Practices: Follow industry best practices in AI development, security, testing, and compliance for financial applications.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for AI & Innovation: Enthusiasm for building AI-powered financial applications that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and automation.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade, scalable Python applications, delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Experience with GenAI Technologies: At least 1 year of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered client solutions using large language models (LLMs), transcription models, and NLP techniques.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and AWS, with experience deploying AI/ML solutions in cloud environments.
  • Data Processing & Retrieval Optimization: Expertise in extracting, chunking, embedding, and optimizing unstructured financial data, ensuring high-accuracy search performance.
  • Transcription & NLP Model Integration: Experience working with speech-to-text models, natural language processing (NLP), and AI-powered knowledge retrieval.
  • Code-Aware AI Development: Familiarity with LLMs and AI models that can process, understand, and assist with software development workflows.
  • DevOps & Deployment: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management and deployment automation using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Frontend Development (Bonus): Familiarity with Angular or React to develop AI-enhanced user interfaces.
  • Financial Industry Experience (Preferred): Understanding of banking, fintech, or financial data processing and how AI can enhance compliance, risk assessment, and automation.
  • Problem-Solving & Ownership: Ability to develop creative AI solutions, take initiative, and drive high-impact projects.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate AI solutions effectively, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
