Position Summary
Essential Job Functions:
• Create artwork for all aspects of our slot machines, including game logos, symbols, backgrounds and other theme art
• Maintain excellent art quality in regard to design, layout, color theory, and typography
• Collaborate with the game development team by providing art assets to the team’s animator and software engineer
• Communicate with the game designer and development team in an iterative development process
• Mentor junior game artists in related studios and throughout Game Development
• Maintain well-organized working files to facilitate file sharing and collaborative work
• Archive all final working files for future use using version control software
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Training and/or Experience:
• 5+ years of professional experience in illustration (traditional or digital) and/or graphic design
• Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Enjoy working in a creative environment
• Have a strong sense of logo and interface design
• Have a strong sense of graphic illustration and overall graphics creation
• Ability to work with a variety of different illustration styles
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to receive art direction and provide multiple design solutions
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Familiarity with Unity a plus
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
