Reporting to the global head of Source-to-Pay for Maersk, you, as our new process leader colleague, will become a vital part of Maersk’s process transformation towards becoming the best operator across all the products and markets we are serving to the benefit of our customers and our teams. As the global Source-to-Pay process Director for our Landside, Air & LCL (Less-than-Container-Load) business you will be globally accountable for the design, execution and continuous improvement of all processes, policies and financial controls within this business domain. An exciting challenge that will see the right candidate right in the middle of a large industry transformation towards becoming an operationally excellent market leader in logistics. As our new colleague, you will be accountable for the design, execution, monitoring, and improvement of processes in the landside and Air & LCL scope. This includes establishing process objectives, creating longer term strategic roadmaps, as well as leading and enabling the implementation of enterprise initiatives positively impacting customer and user experiences. The desired outcome is well-defined processes, which work in harmony with our products and digital platform capabilities.
You will be responsible for
- Continuously developing a team of industry leading process and product professionals as our teams are the cornerstones in enabling operationally excellent outcomes!
- Accountable for establishing, co-creating and driving purpose and vision for the Transported By Maersk (TbM) business - Landside + Air & LCL L2 process area under Source-to-Pay
- Owning and being accountable for the Source-to-Pay Process transformation for all processes under TbM - Landside + Air & LCL
- Accountable for as-is and to-be processes, controls and enterprise health metrics across all strategic priorities under TbM (Global SAP Transport Management System implementation and implementation of CargoWise for Air & LCL). You will, as a leaders, be heavily engaged with these priorities
- Establish definition of process objectives, targets and measurements enabling assessment and improving of process maturity & operational success.
- Deeply understand the daily execution and ensure it is adhering to process and/or process are clear or rectified
- Accountable for guiding the prioritization and sequencing of changes & requests that affect his/her process domain working closely with different stakeholders across products, process and technology platforms
You will lead all dedicated Change Management, post M&A Process enablement, Process Risk and Control and Project work in scope for TbM - Landside + Air & LCL under Source-to-Pay. This includes ownership and implementation of Business Policies to enable high degree of standardization to the process landscape, incl negotiation with other process domains on process conflicts or interruptions for an e2e seamless integration.
How you handle change matters, so reviewing, approving and communicating process changes and/or improvements and consequent training and adoption plans is of key importance alongside with the continuous improvement of processes based on frontline/execution input
You will be accountable for
- S2P Process Domain standardization and automation goals including the specific process performance indicators
- All L2-L5 processes and corresponding design and documentation
- Process risk management and controls
- Team effectiveness, engagement and setup
