Role:                                 Senior Full-Stack Software Developer 

Work location:               Fredericton, NB

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Quantiphi, you will be instrumental in building high-quality web applications that are scalable, responsive, and secure. You’ll work across various layers of our applications, from the database to UX, and play a key role in developing complex, data-driven features. This position requires a deep technical foundation, experience in both frontend and backend frameworks, and a proactive, collaborative approach to development.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Implement dynamic, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular, focusing on optimal UX/UI design principles.

• Build and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Node.js, Express, Django, or similar technologies.

• Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and UX/UI designers to align features with user needs and business goals.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold high standards for code quality and development best practices.

• Participate in deployment processes, support CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to automated testing strategies to ensure smooth application deployment.

• Adhere to secure coding practices and collaborate with security teams to identify and address vulnerabilities.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer, ideally with a focus on complex, data-driven applications.

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript,HTML, CSS and libraries/frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Solid experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Express, Django, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of both SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools.

• Experience with Git and collaborative version control on platforms like GitHub or GitLab.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
