Your Role at MediaLab
MediaLab Engineering supports a growing number of applications across multiple business verticals under the MediaLab umbrella.
For this particular position, we work in Typescript, and will prefer prior experience with programmatic advertising. React is very prevalent across our brands so experience is a plus. You will be responsible for working on an SDK that is used across our brands and implementing it into their websites. We're looking for proactive engineers with real technical depth and a desire to understand the entire business. We want people who are passionate and care deeply about the success of the whole company.
What You'll Do
- Work with product, design and other engineering teams to implement new features and transform existing products
- Build stable, extendable, testable code
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Create new releases of an SDK that will be used on millions of devices
- Help improve the monetization and user experience across our portfolio of brands
- Work with various javascript frameworks as you implement our SDK into them, such as Next.js
What We're Searching For
- Minimum of 5+ years experience within increasingly complex engineering organizations
- Hands on experience with programmatic advertising
- Debugging production issues as they arise
- Consumer facing application or web experience
- Extensive engineering experience with various Javascript frameworks, React is a plus
- Experience designing and building real-world web applications and javascript libraries with cross browser support
- Familiar with agile methodologies and proper testing efforts
- Passion for continuous learning of new technologies and best implementations
