Senior Full Stack Engineer

You are driven to build impactful services: designing scalable backend systems, crafting intuitive interfaces, and enabling your peers to move faster. You are a Ruby on Rails expert.  You’ve used RoR to develop production applications for at least 18 months and have a set of go-to gems that make you wickedly productive. You’re experienced in designing and maintaining backend-heavy full-stack applications, architecting distributed systems, and owning services end-to-end—including infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployments (AWS or GCP).

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale our Ruby on Rails web application, focusing on backend services.
• Develop and maintain user-focused applications and interfaces with Typescript and Lit frameworks.
• Design and implement end-to-end systems, including performance testing and system integrations.
• Identify, assess, and resolve bottlenecks or scaling issues.
• Contribute to building real-time capabilities and scalable microservices to support rapid data operations.
• Develop integrations with third-party APIs and ensure efficient data transfers to destination platforms.
• Always look for opportunities to make the product better and delight our customers.

The estimated salary for this role is $150,000 to $180,000 USD, and CAD. Total compensation will include a meaningful variable component and equity in the company. Final base salary decisions will be based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
