Your role at Kittl

Join Kittl’s Product Community team—a cross-functional group of engineers, a product manager, designer, and data scientist—focused on scaling user-generated content to drive community-led growth.

In this role, you’ll build the products and systems that make it easy for designers to publish high-quality content, get discovered, and grow their presence on Kittl. You’ll work on features that boost content visibility, spotlight top creators, and reward quality contributions—laying the foundation for a vibrant, engaged creator ecosystem.

Beyond publishing, you’ll help develop tools that foster peer learning, feedback, and collaboration—so designers don’t just share their work on Kittl, they connect, grow professionally, and feel part of something bigger. Your work will shape how our community creates, interacts, and thrives.

What you'll do

  • Produce high-quality results: You'll contribute heavily to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the business

  • Resolve production issues: You'll assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging production issues

  • Improve engineering standards: You'll improve tooling and processes

What you’ll need

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional development experience with a recent focus on TypeScript, React, and Node.js

  • Testing: Strong proficiency with unit, integration and E2E testing

  • Application state management: Expertise in complex state management

  • ORM & SQL: Experience writing raw SQL, familiarity with ORM tools a plus

  • Cloud: Knowledge of AWS, familiarity with static hosting platforms such as Vercel a plus

  • CI/CD: Understanding of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery processes

Interview process

  • Recruiter interview (30 min)

  • Technical take home assignment

  • Technical interview (60 min)

  • Interview with Director of Engineering (30 min)

  • CTO interview (30 min)

  • Bar raiser interview with Chief of Staff, right hand to CEO (45 min)
