Role Description

ITAO governance is part of GTI functions. This role is specific to ‘Control Workbench’ development. This application is a central dashboard for top level management across TDI and it procures the data from various golden source across the bank. The application gives various view to the CIO/ITAO/CSM/ Senior managers in the bank with regards to compliance, governance’s dashboard with respective to the individual business / applications area.

Your key responsibilities

• Demonstrate very strong Engineering Leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of product development and successful problem definition, decomposition, estimation and resolution
• Provide guidance & coaching to the engineers in the team while working cross-functionally with global engineering teams, systems engineering, program managers, technology leaders and downstream operations and support teams to ensure on-time execution with on-target quality and cost of programs.
• Responsible for building a world class software development team.
• Influence the decision making through active partnership with cross-functional teams, aligning with cross-functional team owners to understand the initiatives and implementations
• Management of vendor partnership as needed
• Designing and developing web-based application with both backend and frontend service
• Designing and developing secure and robust APIs using technologies such as Java Spring Boot and angular
• Participate in design sessions with fellow programmers, functional analysts and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
• Prototype creative solutions quickly and be able to collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in ECE / EEE /Computer Science / IT or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent with expertise in react/Angular and related Cloud and UI technologies and programming languages like Python Flask / Django frameworks Java,Spring boots -MicroServices.
• 10+ years of professional experience (including technical SKILLS) in the software development and engineering domain or software quality engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering leadership / management role with people management for medium to large projects and teams
• Experience in software management through at least 2+ complete product life-cycles
• Experience in delivering high quality software outputs with comprehensive understanding of Agile software development principles
• Proven experience working with global development teams and building close working relationships to drive and nurture positive relations with other make centers.
• Strong influencing skills, communication skills and demonstrated analytical skills
• Must have 5+ Years of experience with HTML5, CSS, OO JavaScript, JavaScript Framework like Angular on enterprise sites
• Must have 5+ Years experience in Python Flask / Django frameworks
• Good to have experience writing enterprise level REST/SOAP service with JAVA Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle/ SQL Server/ MySQL
• 3+ years of experience working on CI/CD pipeline using Teamcity/Jenkins
• Leadership experience within an Agile development team
• Experience deploying applications to the cloud using OpenShift/GCP or any hypervisors.
• Experience in creating and maintaining containers with Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, Architectural patterns, design patterns, and continuous delivery principles
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
