As a Full Stack Engineer, you will join a dynamic team Kunai is assembling to integrate seamlessly with a major global banking client’s investment arm. In this role, you will champion best practices to build and enhance cutting-edge applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop across the application stack including front-end, back-end, database layers, and dev ops.
- Utilize React to build highly optimized, scalable, and modern web applications.
- Create and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java
- Primary coding in Java and JavaScript, embracing modern ES6+ standards.
- Deploy and manage application components on cloud (Azure)
- Engage and problem solve with other engineers, designers, and product owners in a collaborative environment, involving code reviews and joint problem-solving
Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years of proven background in building scalable full-stack applications with Java, JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS.
- Solid understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, data querying from various sources (GraphQL, REST APIs, databases), and web services.
- Keen eye for layout, semantic markup, and application performance.
- Experience with cloud services and cloud-based application management (Azure preferred).
- Strong ownership, pragmatic approach, commitment to testing and learning, and ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
- Adaptability: Openness to learning and applying new technologies and methodologies
- Prior enterprise-level or commercial software development experience.
