The Senior Full Stack Developer will demonstrate initiative and creativity (out-of-the-box thinking) and participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables.
What you’ll do at Elekta
Would you like to be part of our driven global team, where we aim to attract and invite the best competences to Elekta? We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our engineering team at Helsinki (Finland), which is currently a team of twenty members divided in three scrum teams.
In this exciting and diverse role, you will actively seek to provide meaningful feedback on product architecture and shaping the future direction of the product.
Responsibilities

Implement software applications including design and testing.

Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams.

Able to translate requirements into products, services and solutions without guidance

Ensure that software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis and testing support.

Produce necessary design control documents
-
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and fix complex problems. Take initiatives to identify areas for quality improvements.
What you bring
-
MSc/MEng in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
-
Strong developer with at least 5-6 years of application development experience.
-
Skilled in Internationalized SPA (Single Page Application) development. Knowledge in Typescript, and Angular is desired.

Skilled in RESTful service development, event driven design, implementation, and infrastructure services/tools. You are skilled in in either python or C# (.NET Core), and interested in working with a modern, python-based microservice application.

Data storage methods (especially SQL) and test automation are familiar concepts to you.

Familiarity with CI/CD and Cloud-tools such as Kubernetes is an advantage.

Software testing mindset when developing code, including automation of unit tests, integration tests and end to end tests as well as performance tests.

Fluent in English with good communication skills.
