Role of a Senior Developer
We see a senior developer as someone capable of leading projects, engaging in discussions to find the best solutions for our clients, and coaching the team. You are expected to stay updated with technology developments and help spread this knowledge. Compliance knowledge, such as GDPR, Cookie law, and the European Accessibility Act, is also important. You understand how to design and build large-scale frontend projects designed for long-term development. You know how to balance running fast and when to prioritize optimization and the correct approach.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience doing web development
- Technically skilled front-end developer with a creative mindset and a passion for quality in code and performance with a focus in Vue.js, Typescript, Nuxt.js.
- Ability to lead front-end projects and make decisions collaboratively. Strong communication skills and comfort in handling client dialogue.
- Experience in creating the right front-end architecture for the right solution.
- Independent, proactive, and goal-oriented attitude.
- Naturally curious and up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Thorough and disciplined in your work, with a focus on testing, quality auditing, and constant optimization.
Experience and Opinions On:
- JavaScript and CSS frameworks, designing for multiple devices and screen sizes, web design, performance, animation, accessibility, and digital communication.
- Always updated on modern front-end technologies, languages, frameworks, methods, platforms, and tools.
- Experience with AEM and Shopify.
- Bonus if you have experience with React/Next.
